Formally at Monument Road Clevedon, Auckland, New Zealand for over 30 years and now at Mercer.
Mercer Airfield, which has a total length of 1200m, is our new our home base while other locations are been investigated for the longer term.
Mercer is a full size airfield and model flying will be from the eastern runway boundary or adjacent to it so an observer will be mandatory as well as listening out on a radio for full size movements. The airfield is not used very much at this time but a skydiving operation is planned and pilot training can happen any time so it remains to be seen if we can co-exist with these other activities. We feel sure that the skydiving would not impeed our flying but full size aircraft movements would as we would be margin of about 1000m from the skydiving landing area to our flying area.
