Vehicle security! A member had his locked vehicle broken into whilst parked at the field and he was flying with other members on the strip. Please keep a look out over the parking area and investigate any suspicious behavior or call the police.
Driving over the grass is discontinued for the duration of the wet season, please respect this action.
Unfinancial members may not fly after June 30 as you are uninsured.
Membership renewals were due April 1 and can now be submitted and paid online if you wish.
Fees are unchanged from last year.

The calendar lists the 'no fly' days when the grounds are booked for exclusive use by one of the equine clubs that share the use of the grounds and also lists other planned club events. Please check this page regularly for changes to the 'no fly' days.
NZMAA administer a 'Wings Program' which is a program to promote a basic level of flying skill in conjunction with issuing 'Proficiency Certificates' for special categories.

There is a $12 charge for the wings badge ( normally issued with a 'S' for sport category) and any later category additions are free.
If you would like to take the initial Wings test or add another proficiency category to your certificate please download a test form and bring it with you to the field. It would be wise to try to arrange with an instructor beforehand. Check the newsletter for instructors.
